Project 8: Performance Night

Assalamualaikum


For last project of this subject,we have to organize a closing ceremony to our one semester studio life.The event involves a series of live performances by 7 major-based groups that is Architecture, Building Technology, Building Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying and Interior Design, multimedia presentation, award giving ceremony, and a farewell dinner.The theme for the Performance Night is ‘The Lost Kingdoms’. In line with the theme, each major-based group should represent the specific Nusantara kingdoms. Every students have to dress-up, decorate and performance regarding their own kingdom.

PROJECT 7 EXHIBITION

Assalamualaikum.


Building Technology was sharing a booth with Building Surveying. We have to decorate a booth with the theme of Floating Line. A banner of own major also have to be made for the exhibition. This exhibition is part of our achievement from project 1 until now. Hence, all the BT members gathered and discussed about our respective jobs. With the co-operation of all of the members, we had successfully decorated our booth and I personally feel very satisfied with it.

Project 6 : Integrated Project : Design and Build An Amphitheatre Stage

We had to work in a group of 16 student from 7 different major : architecture, urban and regional  planning, interior design, construction management, building surveying, building technology and quantity surveying. This project we have communicate to each other even we came from different major.

Project 6 is an integrated project to design and build a small scale building in a group of 15 to 16 students. It comprises of Project 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D. The whole project duration is 42 days from the project issued on 28th October until the final submission on 9th December 2013.

 for the 6b,it was project report which the progress report runs for 6 weeks that consist of

discussion on the progress,problem that have been arisen,work lies ahead,schedule of work

and cost involved.and the final report consist of purpose,goal and objective,background 

study and site analysis,proposed design development,construction method,material 

selection &  basic,building services,element cost analysis(ECA),model costing estimate and 

project scheduling.

For Project 6c, based on the presentation dawings of their respective Amphiteatre Stage design, each group needs to build or construct the scale size model of their stage (1:5 scale).

Students are given two weeks to plan and complete the model construction process.
